Wartburg Seminary and Dialog Works collaborated to create "Engaging God's Future," a comprehensive series of online courses aimed at equipping pastoral leaders of congregations who are grappling with sustainability challenges. These high-quality training courses were developed in partnership with a diverse group of stakeholders, including synodical leaders, lay leaders, and pastors, ensuring that the content is relevant and practical for congregations and parishes of varying contexts.

The four courses stand alone. However, there is logic in how they are sequenced. Practical Tools for the Journey focuses on understanding the current situation. Discerning God's Leading moves towards resolving differences and reaching a consensus on where God is leading the congregation. A New Chapter in Ministry is a close-up look at implementing change. Ending with Grace focus on the closing of a congregation.
